Crack Baby Arashi

Quick doodle in between work.

I managed to convince someone to pick up One Piece. When he finally came to the part where Nami 'willingly' went with Enel, a crack baby is born (in my head).

The thought was: what if Nami was unable to escape (or her crewmates were too late), Enel would have dragged her with him to Fairy Vearth. She would be stuck with him, and her self-preservation mode would naturally choose to hide behind him during dangerous events (he is a powerful logia user after all). He might keep her as his means of entertainment, and Nami would loathe his company (she could only take so much of his arrogance) despite needing him to keep her safe.

I also imagined that it would take them 5 years of adventuring together to finally have some sort of attachment or appreciation, or it would take a crazy drunken night for Arashi to be conceived (it's also possible that Enel might have forced himself onto Nami prior to that). Since they are the only humans among the automata, they would continue to have 4 or 5 more kids. somewhere down that line, Enel and Nami eventually declared themselves married (yes, it would be a very crazy and sometimes unhealthy kind of relationship).

Arashi (13 years old)
The eldest of Enel and Nami's children (nicknamed Pachi by his mother). A non devil fruit user, but has excellent reflexes and high tolerance for pain (comes with having Enel for a father - dodge or get zapped). He's also proficient with staffs or lances (he currently inherits Nami's staff). Arashi is very close to his mother, but he finds his father highly annoying and a bit on the abusive side (Enel views him as an offspring who should revere his 'creator', and Enel is quick to zap Arashi whenever the boy pointed out that Nami is the one who birthed him). He is protective of his siblings despite the rivalry they have in gaining their father's respect/attention. Once in a while, he shares the same arrogance as his sire, but he is also quick to be humbled by his mother. He also has the Kenbunshoku haki ability, but it is not as high as Enel's.

His adventure started when he found his mother's old waver and he modified it with the help of a few automata. Once completed, he took out for a test but it boosted him straight back to earth instead. Arashi conveniently crashed on an island where he would eventually bump into the old Strawhat Crew, some already with their own children (they didn't had much success navigating towards One Piece without Nami). By then, 15 years have passed since Skypiea. He only remembers them through his mother's stories and quickly trusts them, even though he frequently questions the captain's competence.

Arashi would then tour the new world with the Strawhat crew, grow up on their ship, get trained by the best, and become one of the most renowned pirate in his adulthood (once in a while, he does miss his family, but he is confident that his mother will keep everyone in check). He dreams of finding the most powerful energy source and transport to fly back to Fairy Vearth, retrieve his mother and siblings, and then bring them back to earth.
